December 2nd: The 4th Grade "Bat
Presentation" by Danielle King, a professor from SRJC who will come to enrich the Fourth grade with lots of bat knowledge!
December 22: Matanzas will be having Zumba assembly
with Monica Smith! Each grade level will have a session of zumba fun to kick off Winter Break!
Spring Creek students will enjoyed a puppet show assembly
on Wednesday, September 21 at 12:45. Puppeteers from Images in Motion of Sonoma will present "Big Bad Bruce" based
on the book by Bill Peet. The show is action packed and humorous. Bruce, a big bully of a bear, never picks on
anyone his own size until he is diminished in more ways than one by Roxie, a small but very wise witch. This 30 minute tale
is brought to life with the beautifully crafted hand, rod and shadow puppets of Images In Motion. There will be a 10 minute “Post show” puppetry demo and the show & post show talk covers a number of the K-5 CA Content Standards for English Language, Performing
Arts & Positive Character discussions on bullying.
