School Breakfast & Lunch Program

With current national attention being focused on children's health and wellness issues, Rincon Valley Union School District is excited to provide parents a convenient, easy and secure online prepayment service to deposit money into your child's school meal account at any time. This service also provides parents the ability to view your child's account balance through a web site called MyNutrikids.com. By having money in each child's account prior to entering the cafeteria, we find the lunch lines move along much faster so your child has more time to eat and be with friends.

Also, parents will have the ability to print out a copy of their child's eating history report. This history report will show you all dates and times that your child has purchased a breakfast and or lunch within the past thirty days.

We are now partnering with Sodexo, where professionally trained chefs create and kid-test new recipes every day to make sure the students have fresh, delicious, and nutritious meals, including school breakfasts.

Free & Reduced Meals

If you feel your child qualifies for free or reduced price meals according to the eligibility scale, please fill out the application (Español) and return it to your child’s school as soon as possible. If you received free or reduced price meals last year, a new application must still be filled out for the new school year. Only one application per household is needed. An application approved for free meals will allow your child to eat every day with no charge to you, and an application approved for reduced price meals will be charged $.40 a meal. No child who qualifies for free or reduced meals will be overtly identified in any way.
